Community Outreach

The Food Pantry feeds about 230 people per month
and the need is increasing!

The Food Pantry ministry collects dry food goods from donations placed in the Food Pantry bin and distributes it weekly to support the community in need.

Donate: Consider buying a second bag of groceries when you shop for your family. Please drop donations in the Food Pantry bin by the front sliding doors any time the Church is open.  Current needs: cold cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, jam, jelly, canned pasta, stew, chili, hearty soup, pasta, rice, canned meat & fish, canned fruit, pasta sauce, soap, cleanser, lotions, diapers, toilet paper, and tissue paper.  Please avoid restaurant size cans and no expired items.  Drop them off at the Food Pantry bin.

When: Food distribution of dry goods are every Monday (4-5 pm) and Thursday (10-11 am).  Volunteers are needed to fill bags and distribute them.

Food sorting of the donation bins are emptied out and transferred to the food pantry several times a week.  Would you consider taking a day once a week to do this?  Choose from Sunday, Wednesday or Friday at anytime between 8 am - 9 pm.  This is a great family ministry!

Lunches of LUV – provides lunches to the Tuesday Meals guests. We make about 65 lunches each week.

Donations needed include: granola bars; individually packaged cheese/peanut butter and crackers; water; fruit; packaged nuts; trail mix

Small groups could donate on a rotational basis one week per month, either by dropping off the food or coming in on Tuesday evenings and assembling/handing out the lunches.

There is a great need as the amount of people attending the Tuesday Meal Program continues to grow and includes many children.
