"Therefore everyone who hears my words and puts them into practice is like a wise builder who built there house upon the solid rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, the wind blew and beat against the house; yet it did not fall because it had its foundation on the rock." - Matthew 7:24-25

This is not about doing good deeds to receive God's love. This is about choosing to put into practice Jesus' commands in response to God's love.

As you practice these 3 habits, you will grow in doing the work Jesus has commanded us to do: God's Work.

Love Your Family - Choose to love, care for, and serve your family as a reflection of your relationship with God. As the first people in which to reflect the love that God first gives you, you will find your relationship with God grow as you love your family. "Anyone who does not care for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." - 1 Timothy 5:8

Love Your Neighbor - Choose to love, care for, and serve your neighbor. As you see every person whom you come into contact with as your neighbor, you will find that there is no interaction where there is not a chance to put into practice what Jesus referred to as the second greatest commandment: love your neighbor. "Love your neighbor as yourself." - Matthew 22:39

Give the Gospel - Choose to give to others the gift of eternal and abundant life that has been given to you through faith in Jesus Christ. As you give the good news of the Gospel through your words and your actions, you will find that there is nothing more significant that you can invest your life to than giving the gospel. "Jesus said, 'Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.'" - Mark 16:15
