Jonathan and Miranda Bereza

“Turning lost students into Christ-centered laborers.” Since 2001, Jonathan and Miranda have been on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, serving in Argentina (Miranda), East Asia (Jonathan), and then Kyrgyzstan (once married). Their joy and passion is sharing the Gospel with lost college students, seeing Christ reveal Himself to them and transform their lives by His truth and love. They then train students in discipleship, theology and evangelism so they can reach their family, friends, university, and lost students at colleges overseas themselves.

Just over a year ago, the Lord drew Jonathan and Miranda back to the States for a season, and they now serve in the MidSouth region. Stationed near Raleigh, North Carolina, their work remains the same, and their scope is the 1.5 million college students attending colleges and universities in North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia and Tennessee.

In Matthew 9:37, Jesus proclaims “the Harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” This reality is the driving force behind Jonathan’s position as the director of sending. He gets to track with and challenge students across the region to become full-time missionaries, fully devoting their futures to His Cause. His main focus is seeing graduates join staff with Campus Crusade, but he also trains and equips those who aren’t being led to full-time vocational ministry to view their co-workers and workplace as their mission field and be able to effectively share the Gospel there.

Miranda works with the Destino ministry at North Carolina State University, which is the outreach to Hispanic students, the fastest growing demographic in the South. Destino’s vision is to see a generation of leaders raised up from the Latino community to help fulfill the Great Commission on the campus, in the community, and around the world. Miranda also distance-coaches student leaders serving overseas in our partnership countries (East Asia, Argentina, Lebanon, Senegal, Sweden, and Central Asia).

Ray and Lisa Caldwell

Ray Caldwell is serving as the Director of Ministries for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes here in the Conejo and Simi Valleys. Previously he has served with Athletes in Action as the campus director at UC Irvine, USC, and UCLA, as well as being the Chaplain for the two Major League Soccer Teams in Los Angeles, the LA Galaxy and Chivas USA. He comes to us from the Midwest having grown up in Ohio and attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where he wrestled for four years. It was there that he first got involved with Christian ministry working with Cru on campus and AIA even serving full-time overseas in Munich, Germany, for three years taking sports teams into Eastern Europe and Russia. He met his wife here in LA where they were both going through Agape International Training for cross-cultural communication of the Gospel. They have been married for 22 years and have three children: McKenzie, Nicholas, and Cameron. Ray additionally coaches wrestling at Westlake High School and youth football.

Hector Cedillo

Hector is a pastor who works with World Impact in downtown Los Angeles. He leads a multi-ethnic church and has a large weekly outreach in MacArthur Park with the homeless. He also trains young, Hispanic church-planters and pastors. He is a super evangelist with a huge heart for lost people.

David and Krysta Christensen

Operation Embrace is dedicated to honoring each disciple in their specific gifts and callings, and then releasing them into ministry with a strong relationship of accountability. This ministry has already blossomed into two transitional living/ emergency shelter homes, known as the Kingdom Center Ventura and Oxnard and is beginning to take root in other local communities.

Our next step for 2012 is laying the foundation for Operation Embrace to expand oversees and become a vehicle to care for the poor in unreached countries and to lovingly and respectfully share Jesus with them. We believe that homeless people who have been discipled here will be among the missionaries to go!

We have recently become involved in the Kingdom Center, a transitional living home for homeless families. It is now a place that glorifies God as Christian churches of every denomination come together to sponsor rooms for homeless families to live in for at least a year, while being helped to transition out of homelessness!

When Jesus was discipling those who followed Him, He didn't just meet with them for an hour each week and go over a study guide. He was with them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week fo r3 years! We are loving the least of these and sharing our lives with them.

 

Pastor Larry Dewitt

Cornerstone Network and Facilitator of Pastoral Ministries for Mission America Coalition.
In 1976, Larry, his wife, Beccy, and three children made the westward journey to Thousand Oaks, California, with a dream to create a fresh model of church life in America that was Christ-centered, Bible-based, culturally relevant and outreach oriented.

God honored that dream. Starting with six families, Calvary Community Church became one of the nation's leading church models for the boomer generation . . . reaching literally thousands of families.

In 2003, Larry resigned as senior pastor. With a new God-given dream and challenge from the elders to take some of what had been learned at Calvary Community to the Church at large, Cornerstone Network was launched. Today the vision for Cornerstone seems as exciting and challenging as the dream for Calvary Community those many years ago.

Cornerstone Network is based on the premise that the ultimate network is connecting people to Jesus Christ, the Cornerstone of life, and to God's purpose for their lives. Cornerstone is about connecting people with God and connecting people with people, based on similar dreams and passions to have a significant impact on our world for Christ! Cornerstone's mission, in collaboration with the Mission America Coalition, is, "Every follower of Christ . . . praying, caring, sharing."

Phil & Laina Graf

The mission of GTN is to train Majority World church planters, pastors and Christian leaders so they can personally model and more effectively equip people in their congregations and those beyond their congregations to evangelize and disciple their communities for Christ. We are also one of the founding couples for Global Justice Mission, specifically preparing leaders to oppose the injustice that swirls all around them. We do this not only globally but also locally primarily through the community of faith that God is trusting us to lead.

Laina and I and our family will leverage the four decades of ministry we've been privileged to see God raise up through us to multiply growth in all the areas mentioned above!

Mike Katzenberger

Michael was Calvary's high school pastor for almost 10 years (95-2004). He now serves at Calvary with the Russian Child Sponsorship Program and Eastern European regional ministry. Joining Christian Associates (CA) in the fall of 2004, Mike initially began coaching and developing the ministry partnership between Calvary, CA and now 6 churches in Russia, Latvia and Ukraine.

Christian Associates (CA) is an international organization focused on extending God's kingdom through love and grace, raising up missional followers/disciples of Jesus, and multiplying missional, Christ-following leaders, communities, and movements. CA now has projects in over 60 cities in Western, Eastern Europe and The Americas. CA and Calvary have a long-standing partnership focused in Russia, Latvia and Ukraine.

Though he travels extensively, Michael's role has his office and home in the US. Initially he served primarily in Russia and Latvia but now leads CA's ministry in Eastern & Central Europe.

Tom and Karin Middleton

Though they work around the world, Tom and Karin and their two daughters, Janae and Anika live just outside the strategic ministry hub of Denver, CO.

The purpose of Church Resource Ministries is to find, train, develop and catalyse into ministry emerging leaders to start new church multiplication and mission movements in Western Europe, North America and beyond.

Tom oversees CRM's Western European ministry helping to find European leaders to begin new mission and church planting movements. Karin consults with and helps the North American churches develop the spiritual formation ministry for their most young and precious members, birth through five years old..

Linus and Sharon Morris

Linus and Sharon were co-founders of Christian Associates International in 1968. Their vision is to see Jesus Christ change lives in the cities of Europe and beyond by multiplying high-impact churches. Through their leadership at CAI, they impacted thousands of people in dozens of countries through church planting. After 43 years with CAI, Linus and Sharon felt God's call to focus on multiplying national church leaders. In October 2011, they joined Global Training Network, whose mission is to train church planters, pastors and leaders to fulfill the Great Commission. Linus is the author of The High Impact Church and co-authored with Linus Jr. The Divine Expedition.

Steve and Linda Adams

Steve & Linda are long-time Calvary members who began working with Christian Associates (CA) in 1991. (Steve transitioned into a full-time ministry role in 1993.) CA is an international organization focused on extending God's kingdom by multiplying effective leaders who can help launch new churches, seeking to see Jesus Christ changing lives in the cities of Europe and beyond. CA now has projects in 32 cities in Europe and 10 cities in the Americas. CA and Calvary have a long-standing partnership focused in Russia and Latvia, but there have been cross-involvements in other areas as well.

Though he travels extensively, Steve's role has always been based in the US. For many years, he served as CA's Executive VP, but recently he moved out of that and into a split role that focuses on 1) developing strategic partnerships with other churches and organizations; and 2) overseeing CA's expansion into Latin America.

Gloria Del Cid

Gloria has served for the past 7 years counseling in many schools and ministering to the people in a poor marketplace. Ministry activities include playing soccer with the children, dance classes and Bible studies with men, women and children of all ages. She mentors leaders and is a Purpose-Driven Life trainer.

Manny and Claudia Garcia

Manuel and Claudia are missionaries to Costa Rica. They facilitate Bible training centers which are continually growing. They also have a ministry directed to disciple children under the age of 12 in conjuction with a feeding program. Calvary High School students have been a part of many mission trips to work with the Garcia's and are going once again this year. Their current goal is to start a farming program that will generate jobs for single parents.

Rick and Judith Grossman

Rick and Judith have been involved in international church planting in Europe and have recently relocated to Costa Rica to continue their mission of church planting and evangelism in the Orosi Valley utilizing the Gaviota Blanca community center as a base of operations.

Luis and Mimi Ojeda

Luis and Mimi seek to reach many lives for Jesus through their church in Ensenada, Mexico, day care center and the missionary church in the Kumeyaay Indian Village. They also have a youth center. The band for their church is involved in outreach as they play in church, open places and other towns near Ensenada. The Ojedas host several short-term teams from Calvary every year.

Julio and Suzette Volcy

Hope Outreach International, Inc. (HOI) has been a non-profit 501 (c) (3) humanitarian and development organization established by Dr. Julio Volcy in 1997 with the idea to make Haiti a better place for its people. Our vision has been to entrust the Haitian people to help them to take care of themselves. We have concentrated our efforts in the development of schools, the identification of young leaders, the organization of communities ,the development of working programs and medical humanitarian missions. Our motto is: Helping Haitians Help Haitians.

Serve the underprivileged, build better lives, enhance leadership potentials and promote social justice through education, health and community development .

Hope Outreach International is a humanitarian and development organization committed to reach Haitians with hope.

Who We Serve:
Today, millions of people are living in object poverty, we serve people in greatest need. Everyone is reachable and deserves a better life. Although a great percentage of our work is focused toward the Haitian population but we take great pleasure in serving the needy.

Leanne Carter

The Carters are long-term Calvary people who have served the Lord in East and Central Europe since 1987. Warren went home to be with the Lord in February 2011 after a skiing accident.

Leanne and their boys, Jonathan (14) and David (9) remain on the field. Leanne's focus is discipleship and mentoring of women in leadership. She also teaches English in the local elementary school, works with Hearts at Home encouraging and educating moms, and serves on the national and local leadership level of Wounded Hearts Ministries (a discipleship ministry) with a special emphasis on leadership development.

Leanne and the boys are active in their local church and are thrilled to have such a wonderful church family just down the street from their home.

Kerri Cole

Kerri has chosen to follow God's call to build His Kingdom and make His name great in the ends of the earth. She has followed Him to Paris, France where she is working with a team planting house churches throughout the city.

David and Debbie Frank

David and Debbie work for the L'Arcada Foundation in Favor of the Family. The main work of the foundation is running Christian camps for children, youth and families. In 1991 they began the foundation and the camps. They have been there for 31 years now love to have people come over and work with them to share the love of Jesus Christ with the more then 1000 kids who go through the different programs each year.

We live in the region Catalonia, Spain, in the province of Girona (Gerona). It is a beautiful part of he world with amazing history and culture. Barcelona is the captial of this region and is in itself an amazing city. The camp is about an hour and a half from Barcelona in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains not far from the French border.

Kelly and Michele O'Donnell

As psychologists we provide and develop member care resources on behalf of personnel and their sending agencies in the mission/aid community. We prioritize those working with unreached people groups. The four main ministry areas involve: consultation/counseling, writing/research, training, and special projects. A special emphasis is "crossing sectors" for mutual learning/good practice so that the mission/aid community can benefit from additonal supportive resources.

Amadeus and Sofia Vadonis

Amadeus and Sofia are German nationals who are planting a church in the city of Berlin. Their ministry exists to reach the unchurched people in Berlin and lead them to their full potential in God. This is a difficult city for ministry but God is at work and blessing their efforts.

Alistair and Shelley Croudace

Alistair and Shelley run a Christian Camp called Lasting Impressions Wilderness Training Center. It is located in Zimbabwe, Africa. Their ministry vision is to bring young people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through a camping ministry. They seek to develop leaders and raise environmental awareness as well as spiritual health. Political and economical difficulties in Zimbabwe have made reliance on the Lord a daily necessity as their ministry continues.

Bethuel and Florence Dongo

Bethuel and Florence Dongo lead God Cares School in Kampala, Uganda. This school serves more than 700 children, many of them orphans. They also faciliatate the Buyamba child sponsorship program and pastor the Kabalagala Pentecostal Church. They train pastors and leaders and run a very large Bible camp for children each year.

Hubert and Bobbie Willis

Hubert and Bobbie Willis work together on the mission field two months of each year. They spread the Gospel through Bible studies and working with churches and orphanages in both Kenya and Uganda. They are long time Calvary members.

George Kisolo

Pastor George Kisolo, his wife Margaret, and their ten children, including two orphans, serve in Kampala, Uganda. They founded the Ever Increasing Miracles Church in the village of Bukasa in 1994. The church started in an eating room and continued to grow as more people in the community heard the wonderful news of Jesus Christ. They have also started a program in the church to train new pastors. From this ministry three former members of the church have started churches themselves. Upon these successes a school was started in the church building and they hope, with proper financing, to purchase permanent land for a school.

Alexey & Alya Boev

Alya and I work alongside Sergey & Katya to develop a similar ministry in Lipetsk. As Regional Director I am responsible for creating and developing a team of like-minded people who will join our movement to bring positive impact on our city. I invite individual volunteers from different social communities and organizations, as well as meeting with business leaders to invite them to assist and contribute. I lead ministry in a local drug rehab center and a hospice, along with meeting monthly with Sergey to pray and plan.

Ungars & Gundega Gulbis

Ungars pastors a church plant in Riga, Latvia called Riga Reformed Church. This church seeks to renew the city of Riga spiritually, culturally and socially.

Bob and Sharon Hilts

We train leaders in the former Soviet Union to run Christian Camps. Presently we have over 1,000 camps. We have about 200 Village Camps (like day camps) in villages that are "cashless". We put on Marriage and Family Seminars for ministry leaders limiting them to 25 couples each conference. We sponsor orphan ministries in four countries and have a goal of graduating them from high school as solid Christian citizens, well grounded in the Word. We run evangelistic sport leagues with basketball and soccer (football over there) and currently have about 3,000 participants. We run leadership training seminars for interested sport leaders and last year had leaders from 7 nations attend. We do Advance Leadership Training and Biblical Leadership Training Seminars for pastors and are currently training for two denominations totaling many hundred pastors. We also have ministry to street kids and to Christian parents of adopted children. Lately, we have a special heart for personal evangelism and have personally led 29 people to Christ in recent weeks.

Jim and Ruth Overton

The Overton's sense a calling from God to assist in the establishment of national church-planting movements among the unreached ethnic and linguistic peoples of the former Soviet Republics. Their strategy is to mobilize (motivate, train and send) indigenous and cross-cultural church planters from inside the former Soviet Republics and other parts of the world.

Sergey & Katya Pokrovgskiy

Sergey's ministry is applying a new church system of evangelism, discipleship and leadership development. They have started and continually are developing outreach ministry for young adults, classes for spiritual discipleship, opportunity for spiritual growth through studying the Bible, prayer and personal experience. They are active in Calvary's orphan sponsorship in Russia and lead the Golgofa Church in Ryazan.

Clark and Gail

In 1984, Calvary members Clark & Gail began full time service focused on an unreached Muslim people group in North Africa. Recently God has redirected them to work among the unreached Muslims of South Asia. Their personal mission statement is "With God's enabling, to do all we can do to facilitate the birth and growth of indigenous church planting movements among Muslim people groups". They work to reach Muslims with the Good News and act as Kingdom catalysts and facilitators of more effective mission within their focus region.

Salim and Kay Munayer

Salim Munayer serves as Director of Musalaha Ministry of Reconciliation, which he founded in 1990. Musalaha has been bringing Israeli and Palestinian believers together through Desert Encounters and conferences to reconcile using Biblical reconciliation principles. Salim is professor of Theology at Bethlehem Bible College and served as academic dean from 1989 to 2008. Kay is an active member of the Shepherd's Society, an organization whose goal is to fulfill Christ's calling to care for God's sheep spiritually and socially through providing humanitarian aid to the local community.

Salim and Kay have four boys, Jack, Daniel, John and Sam who are active in school and swimming. Jack has just completed YWAM's Discipleship training course and is making preparations to study Psychology. Daniel is studying as he begins a two-year long process of taking his matriculation exams and John and Sam are training for the Israeli National Swimming Championships. The boys are also active in their local youth group.
