Hector Cedillo

Hector is a pastor who works with World Impact in downtown Los Angeles. He leads a multi-ethnic church and has a large weekly outreach in MacArthur Park with the homeless. He also trains young, Hispanic church-planters and pastors. He is a super evangelist with a huge heart for lost people.

Rob Marcarelli has delivered relief and medical supplies to troubled areas around the globe through Knightsbridge International. He has also done documentary work, including the film “Not For Sale” on the subject of human trafficking, and a project on the plight of Christians in Iraq entitled “Facing Extinction.”

Pastor Larry Dewitt

Cornerstone Network and Facilitator of Pastoral Ministries for Mission America Coalition.
In 1976, Larry, his wife, Beccy, and three children made the westward journey to Thousand Oaks, California, with a dream to create a fresh model of church life in America that was Christ-centered, Bible-based, culturally relevant and outreach oriented.

God honored that dream. Starting with six families, Calvary Community Church became one of the nation’s leading church models for the boomer generation . . . reaching literally thousands of families.

In 2003, Larry resigned as senior pastor. With a new God-given dream and challenge from the elders to take some of what had been learned at Calvary Community to the Church at large, Cornerstone Network was launched. Today the vision for Cornerstone seems as exciting and challenging as the dream for Calvary Community those many years ago.

Cornerstone Network is based on the premise that the ultimate network is connecting people to Jesus Christ, the Cornerstone of life, and to God’s purpose for their lives. Cornerstone is about connecting people with God and connecting people with people, based on similar dreams and passions to have a significant impact on our world for Christ! Cornerstone’s mission, in collaboration with the Mission America Coalition, is, "Every follower of Christ . . . praying, caring, sharing."

Barbara Hudson

Barbara uses her dramatic talents to share her “Women of the Bible” presentations throughout the United States. Her vignettes are inspiring for Christians as well as evangelistic for non-Christian audiences.

Mike Katzenberger

Mike was Calvary’s high school pastor for almost 10 years (95-2004). Now as a member of Calvary, Mike serves with the Russian Child Sponsorship Program and Eastern European regional ministry. Joining Christian Associates (CA) in the fall of 2004, Mike initially began coaching and developing the ministry partnership between Calvary, CA and 3 churches in Russia and Latvia (Grace Baptist Russia, Golgotha Russia and Riga Reformed in Latvia).

Christian Associates (CA) is an international organization focused on extending God’s kingdom by multiplying effective leaders who can help launch new churches, seeking to see Jesus Christ changing lives in the cities of Europe and beyond. CA now has projects in 32 cities in Europe and 10 cities in the Americas. CA and Calvary have a long-standing partnership focused in Russia, Latvia and are looking to expand into other Eastern European countries in the future.

Though he travels extensively, Mike’s role has his office and home in the US. Initially Mike served primarily in Russia and Latvia but in 2006 he moved into a split role that focuses on 1) Eastern European Director (Primary Role) and 2) overseeing CA’s Southern California initiatives and churches.

Linus and Sharon Morris

Linus and Sharon were founders of Christian Associates International. They have lived in the U.S., Canada, Switzerland, France and Holland, planting churches in Ferney Voltaire, France (on border of Geneva, Switzerland) and Amsterdam. The purpose of their ministry is to see Jesus Christ change lives in the cities of Europe and the world by muliplying high-impact churches. Linus holds Masters degrees from Regent College and Fuller Theological Seminary and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Fuller and jointly from Bakke Graduate University and Asia Theological Seminary. He is the author of The High-Impact Church and has co-athored with Linus Jr. The Divine Expedition (publication pending).

Steve and Linda Adams

Steve & Linda are long-time Calvary members who began working with Christian Associates (CA) in 1991. (Steve transitioned into a full-time ministry role in 1993.) CA is an international organization focused on extending God’s kingdom by multiplying effective leaders who can help launch new churches, seeking to see Jesus Christ changing lives in the cities of Europe and beyond. CA now has projects in 32 cities in Europe and 10 cities in the Americas. CA and Calvary have a long-standing partnership focused in Russia and Latvia, but there have been cross-involvements in other areas as well.

Though he travels extensively, Steve’s role has always been based in the US. For many years, he served as CA’s Executive VP, but recently he moved out of that and into a split role that focuses on 1) developing strategic partnerships with other churches and organizations; and 2) overseeing CA’s expansion into Latin America.

Gloria Del Cid

Gloria has served for the past 7 years counseling in many schools and ministering to the people in a poor marketplace. Ministry activities include playing soccer with the children, dance classes and Bible studies with men, women and children of all ages. She mentors leaders and is a Purpose-Driven Life trainer.

Alfonso and Evelyn Galan

Alfonso and Evelyn serve with Global Impact Group which exists to empower people of all nations to experience life transformation through the Gospel as we invest in their spiritual, social, and economic well being. In short, we are equipping local people to share the Gospel and become leaders and pastors in our mission sites. Alongside church planting and preparing local leadership, we wrap this evangelism effort with social assistance programs such as food and clothing distribution,medical teams, etc.

Manny and Claudia Garcia

Manuel and Claudia are missionaries to Costa Rica. They facilitate Bible training centers which are continually growing. They also have a ministry directed to disciple children under the age of 12 in conjuction with a feeding program. Calvary High School students have been a part of many mission trips to work with the Garcia’s and are going once again this year. Their current goal is to start a farming program that will generate jobs for single parents.

Rick and Judith Grossman

Rick and Judith have been involved in international church planting in Europe and have recently relocated to Costa Rica to continue their mission of church planting and evangelism in the Orosi Valley utilizing the Gaviota Blanca community center as a base of operations.

Bill and Susette Manassero

Luis and Mimi Ojeda

Luis and Mimi seek to reach many lives for Jesus through their church in Ensenada, Mexico, day care center and the missionary church in the Kumeyaay Indian Village. They also have a youth center. The band for their church is involved in outreach as they play in church, open places and other towns near Ensenada. The Ojedas host several short-term teams from Calvary every year.

Julio and Suzette Volcy

Hope Outreach International, Inc. (HOI) has been a non-profit 501 (c) (3) humanitarian and development organization established by Dr. Julio Volcy in 1997 with the idea to make Haiti a better place for its people. Our vision has been to entrust the Haitian people to help them to take care of themselves. We have concentrated our efforts in the development of schools, the identification of young leaders, the organization of communities ,the development of working programs and medical humanitarian missions. Our motto is: Helping Haitians Help Haitians.

Serve the underprivileged, build better lives, enhance leadership potentials and promote social justice through education, health and community development .

Who We Serve:
Today, millions of people are living in object poverty, we serve people in greatest need. Everyone is reachable and deserves a better life. Although a great percentage of our work is focused toward the Haitian population but we take great pleasure in serving the needy.

Warren and Leanna Carter

The Carters are long-term Calvary people (pre-balcony days in the warehouse), who were commissioned by Calvary in 1983 to minister in east Europe, living near Vienna for almost 25 years.

Our work is focused on discipling, mentoring, modelling, teaching, listening, training, releasing into ministry, evangelizing, and transforming – Warren concentrates on cultivating relationships with leaders and emerging leaders of the church in east & central Europe, while Leanne works with women and children. We also serve others with a personal ministry of encouragement, hospitality, and friendship.

Warren travels extensively throughout Europe, and occasionally beyond (averaging almost 2 weeks per month) ministering to leaders and churches, providing leadership to various evangelical initiatives and prayer movements, and has strategic responsibilities for leading DtN and helping to lead Action International in Europe.

Kerri Cole

Kerri has chosen to follow God’s call to build His Kingdom and make His name great in the ends of the earth. She has followed Him to beautiful Aix en Provence, France, where she is learning and living and loving. She is abandoning the comfortable for the unknown and God is doing amazing things in Aix-en-Provence Kerri is so excited that He has called her to be a part of it!

Craig and Pam Collier

David and Debbie Frank

David and Debbie work for the L’Arcada Foundation in Favor of the Family. The main work of the foundation is running Christian camps for children, youth and families. In 1991 they began the foundation and the camps. They have been there for 31 years now love to have people come over and work with them to share the love of Jesus Christ with the more then 1000 kids who go through the different programs each year.

We live in the region Catalonia, Spain, in the province of Girona (Gerona). It is a beautiful part of he world with amazing history and culture. Barcelona is the captial of this region and is in itself an amazing city. The camp is about an hour and a half from Barcelona in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains not far from the French border.

Phil & Laina Graf

Growing out of their 11 years of ministry with CRM and 8 years with YFC, Phil & Laina and their 5 kids moved to Amsterdam with CAI n July 2005. Could we create a space/pace/place where “don’t go-to-churchers” would want to engage in spiritual conversations? *Space in our calendars *Pace in our daily lives..and..* A soulfully inviting and safe physical place. Could a community of faith be formed…and could we be so intentionally infectious that others would go back out and to contagiously reproduce similar space/pace/place? Yes, God is doing it in and through us.

Kelly and Michele O'Donnell

Hi Calvary Family. We live and Europe and work all over the place. We have been part of Calvary since 1985.

Dr. Kelly and Dr. Michele O’Donnell are Christian Psychologists who have ministered full-time in the mission and humanitarian aid community for 22 years. They provide supportive counseling and debrieifing to mission/aid workers internationally. Kelly and Michele also teach and consult around the world with mission agencies on staff care/development. Their passion is to see healthy and resilient mission personnel/sending groups that are effectively focusing on Least – Reached People Groups (LPGs).
>br> As psychologists in missions they have been honored for their work by the Rosemead School of Psychology and have published/edited numerous materials on the field of member care. Helping Missionaries Grow (1988),Missionary Care (1992), and Doing Member Care Well (2002) are three volumes that they have edited. Their two daughters are Celtic elves: Erin, attending university in USA/Australia) and Ashling (attending high school in Europe)

Amadeus and Sofia Vadonis

Amadeus and Sofia are German nationals who are planting a church in the city of Berlin. Their ministry exists to reach the unchurched people in Berlin and lead them to their full potential in God. This is a difficult city for ministry but God is at work and blessing their efforts.

Alistair and Shelley Croudace

Alistair and Shelley run a Christian Camp called Lasting Impressions Wilderness Training Center. It is located in Zimbabwe, Africa. Their ministry vision is to bring young people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through a camping ministry. They seek to develop leaders and raise environmental awareness as well as spiritual health. Political and economical difficulties in Zimbabwe have made reliance on the Lord a daily necessity as their ministry continues.

Bethuel and Florence Dongo

Bethuel and Florence Dongo lead God Cares School in Kampala, Uganda. This school serves more than 700 children, many of them orphans. They also faciliatate the Buyamba child sponsorship program and pastor the Kabalagala Pentecostal Church. They train pastors and leaders and run a very large Bible camp for children each year.

Hubert and Bobbie Willis

Hubert and Bobbie Willis work together on the mission field 2 months of each year. They spread the Gospel through Bible studies and working with churches and orphanages in both Kenya and Uganda. They are long time Calvary members.

Darren Yui

Darren has been working with a social worker in support of the sponsorship program by implementing a database to track children and supporting information as well as linking them to their sponsors’ information. He teaches a few classes and supports the teachers in any ways possible (e.g. grading papers, training etc.) He has been also working together with others to create a curriculum for the chapel program at the school. At the church, he teaches a discipleship class for the teenagers and is working with the youth pastor to redesign their program to fit the changing youth culture. His vision is to see the students from the school become leaders and evangelists.

Clark and Gail Whitney

In 1984 Calvary members Clark & Gail began service focused on an unreached Muslim people group in North Africa. The Whitney’s personal statement is “By God’s enabling, to do all we can do to facilitate the birth and growth of indigenous church planting movement” among their target Muslim people group. They seek to act as Kingdom catalysts, mission mobilizers, and facilitators of mission within the North Africa region.

George Kisolo

Ever increasing miracle church is a Bible believing Church, we believe that the Bible is the Authentic word of God that has no error. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Chief cornerstone of our faith and the Holy trinity. Our vision is to know Christ and make him known. Ever increasing miracle church was founded in the year 1994 in the eating room and it began to grow. As we went out to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ door to door. When people began to come in the church we had no where to put them, then we went in the compound and put there a temporary Church structure. This Church was founded by Pastor KISOLO GEORGE. Pastor GEORGE KISOLO is a Husband of one wife MAGRET and God blessed us with seven children and two orphans who we have adopted as our own children. Now we have nine children in the family. When the church started the house of the Lord began to increase and we have seen the Lord in our ministry. During the years, the Lord has worked hand in hand with us and he told us to go out for him which we did. We started going out in deferent villages to preach the gospel and to plant churches. Right now, Ever increasing miracle church is now having 200 members this is at the Main stream Church and we are looking forward to expand our church Building because the place is now limiting us in growing so our prayer is that the Lord may provide a better place than we have now. And so far we have started three other churches one is in Masaka Pastored by Pastor NOHAR KATEGANYA and the second one is Pastored by Pastor ALEX OCHIENG and the last one is in Jinja pastored by BAGODE JIMMY. All these Pastors come from our church and now they are good pastors. We started a church on the Island which is pastared by Pastor ALEX OCHIENGE and also on this island there is no school so we started a small school which has got 39 pupils. This school was visited by HUBART and his wife BOBBIE. In Ever increasing miracle church we have started a program of training ministers and church leaders and we have seen God Blessing us in this program.As most of our pastors did not go any formal Theological Schools to attain training. We still trust God to enable this peogram to fulfill our objective of having trained Pastor in Pastoral work. We have started a program of pastor and ministers wives and we are giving them pigs and beans and others to give them land to start off and it is working well. Piggery Project for Pastor’s wives We also started a proper alter in the church praying for the body of Christ world wide .And its working verify well Because we know that by prayer all thing are possible Amen. We are planning to put up a good school on the island next year. As the Lord will be helping us in these, we call upon men and women of God who can stand with us in putting up this school for the young generation More so, we are Planing to venture in helping widows and orphans, and also the elderly.We have quite a sizeable number of Widows and orphans in our communities who need a helping hand. As some of you already know that the Aids scourge has affected our communities so much. We already started this program but it will need to build up a team to cater for the orphans and the elderly needs in the daily provision for their basic necessities like clothes, sugar, salt etc.
EVANGELISM

This time we are going door to door with the gospel of Jesus Christ .And we are seeing the increment. This year we have set four conferences in deferent areas of our country which will bring many districts together for the word of God. We had one in February and the one in May was successful, many people attended from deferent areas and we are looking forward to have the one in September and in December this year where people of God are coming to seek the face of their God . The Door is open to all the savants of God who would like to come and work together with us to build up the kingdom of God. i.e. in training up leaders and working in church ministry and also in orphans and widows, Training up bring in people in the kingdom of God. We have started the hospital ministry and in this ministry we have discovered that many people are in the Hospital when they need some one to tell to them about the word of God. So we have seen God working through this ministry. We have a women’s ministry in our church and its working very well.We are organizing the conferences for women to strengthen them in the word of God
WHERE WE ARE NOW

Now the Lord has added to us in numbers, to an extent that the place is very small for us. Its our peayer that we need Gods provision to expand and be able to accomodate our growing congregation.

Ungars Gulbis

Ungars pastors a church plant in Riga, Latvia called Riga Reformed Church. This church seeks to renew the city of Riga spiritually, culturally and socially.

Bob and Sharon Hilts

Bob and Sharon are a part of a ministry that trains Christian Leaders in the former Soviet Union how to run Christian Camps and other ministries through training seminars and personal counseling. They have trained leaders for about 700 camps and continue to train more each year. They might possibly be Calvary’s busiest missionaries!

Jim and Ruth Overton

The Overtons sense a calling from God to assist in the establishment of national church-planting movements among the unreached ethnic and linguistic peoples of the former Soviet Republics. Their strategy is to mobilize (motivate, train and send) indigenous and cross-cultural church planters from inside the former Soviet Republics and other parts of the world.

Sergey & Katya Pokrovgskiy

Sergey’s ministry is applying a new church system of evangelism, discipleship and leadership development. They have started and continually are developing outreach ministry for young adults, classes for spiritual discipleship, opportunity for spiritual growth through studying the Bible, prayer and personal experience. They are active in Calvary’s orphan sponsorship in Russia and lead the Golgofa Church in Ryazan.

Anatoly & Tatiana Redin

Calvary supports Anatoly Redin and a few of the emerging leaders at the Independent Baptist Church. Anatoly provides leadership for several of Calvary’s orphan programs in Russia.

Craig, Mary-Anne & Patrick McCord

The primary goal of “Workers for the Harvest Ministries” is evangelism of the lost and edification of the church in remote areas of the Philippines where the need is great. It is “His harvest” and we are commanded both to pray for, and to BE those workers.

Pastor Gene Reyes

Pastor Gene is the pastor and leader of the orphan home Calvary works with at Macondray in the Philippines. He is also involved in church planting and pastor training in his region.

Salim and Kay Munayer

Salim Munayer serves as Director of Musalaha Ministry of Reconciliation, which he founded in 1990. Musalaha has been bringing Israeli and Palestinian believers together through Desert Encounters and conferences to reconcile using Biblical reconciliation principles. Salim is professor of Theology at Bethlehem Bible College and served as academic dean from 1989 to 2008. Kay is an active member of the Shepherd’s Society, an organization whose goal is to fulfill Christ’s calling to care for God’s sheep spiritually and socially through providing humanitarian aid to the local community.

Salim and Kay have four boys, Jack, Daniel, John and Sam who are active in school and swimming. Jack has just completed YWAM’s Discipleship training course and is making preparations to study Psychology. Daniel is studying as he begins a two-year long process of taking his matriculation exams and John and Sam are training for the Israeli National Swimming Championships. The boys are also active in their local youth group.
