Praxis (Sunday 11AM Middle School Gathering)
It’s tough to get up and going on a Sunday morning! That’s why we work hard to make Praxis the most relevant, exciting, high-energy hour of your week! Join us every Sunday as we play ridiculous games, worship God, Dub-step dance with Charlie the Robot and most importantly dig into the Word of God! In table groups with your friends and Praxis leaders you’ll explore God’s Word as we learn how to live and love like Jesus!

Praxis Groups (Wednesday Nights from 6:30-8PM in Room 1100, Sunday mornings at 9:00AM in room 2102)
Join us each week for Praxis Groups, Calvary’s middle school small groups! Praxis groups are designed to help you grow in your faith and build community with other students as you read God’s Word together. Our primary meeting time is Wednesday nights from 6:30-8PM where we split into groups that are age and gender specific. We also have a Praxis Group that meets on Sunday mornings during the 9AM service, for those who can’t make it to the midweek program.

6th Grade Bootcamp
Join us for a preview of Praxis, Calvary’s middle
school ministry, for all incoming 6th graders and their parents. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn all
about Praxis, hear great tips (for parents and students) on how to make the
most of middle school, and have your questions answered about Praxis. June 5, 6:30-8pm in room 1100.
8th Grade Disneyland Trip
On June 7-8 This event is for current 8th grade students only. As your last official “middle school” event, Pastor Sean and the Praxis team want to celebrate your transition with you. In addition to the Praxis team, our High School pastor, Brian Howard, will join us to get to know you before you officially join the High School Ministry. We will stay overnight in a hotel & your Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast & Saturday lunch are provided. You’ll need to bring some extra cash for dinner on Saturday night & for any snacks you want in the park. More than just a fun day at Disneyland, this is an intentional time to celebrate what God has done in your middle school years & what He has for you next! Don’t miss it! Meet at Calvary at 3pm (Fri) and return 12am (Sun),

Middle School Hume Lake Summer camp
July 21-27, 2013. Cost $550.
Theme: Phoenix Dark
Who is Phoenix Dark? Everyone has an opinion, but what are the
facts? In a story shadowed with mystery and intrigue, a man is asked to
uncover the truth about who Phoenix Dark really is before the clock runs
out. This summer we will be asking the same question that Jesus asked
his disciples in Matthew 16:15 - “But what about you?” He asked. “Who do
you say I am?
We are
heading to Hume Lake Christian Camp for a week of amazing speakers,
worship, activities including ziplines, paintball, kayaking, daily recreation, and
fun with your friends.
This Camp for Middle School students going into 6, 7, or 8 grade in the fall of 2013. We leave early Sunday morning the 21st and will return on Saturday evening the 27th. We will be attending Meadow Ranch at Hume Lake.
Limited Scholarships are available through Hume Lake and Calvary but students must participate in our fundraiser to be eligible. Details on the fundraiser are coming soon.
