2010 Short Term Trips
Thanks for checking out short-term trip opportunities; we'd love for you to join a trip and serve around the world.  In 2010, we're excited to be serving in the following locations:

Ensenada, Mexico: April 9-11
Partnering with Mt. Zion Church in community outreach, construction.  This trip is now FULL.
Costa Rica High School Trip: April 2-10
Haiti: May 31-June 6
We are sending teams to work alongside churches in Port-au-Prince to provide food, tents, and support to different communities.  If you are interested in joining one of our relief teams in Haiti, please contact haitirelief@calvarycc.org

Nicaragua: June 18-25
Calvary has sent several teams to work in the small fishing village of El Transito to bring relief from a hurricane that hit nearly two years ago.  We are now helping build a community/arts center to be used for teaching people in the community a trade in the arts and a place for growth and discipleship.  Join the construction team heading down to build the accommodation quarters for this new facility.  There is also a need for artists to teach art classes and those who love working with children.  Contact Bruce MacDonald: bamacdonald@osielectronics.com

Brazil: June 18-July 4
This team led by Calvary Elder Bert Overholt will be remodeling & enlarging the kitchen & dining hall at the YFC Camp as well as working with children from the Project Love Ministry, for a day of sports, crafts, lunch and Bible stories.  Contact Bert Overholt 805.760.4535 or projectloveinternational@gmail.com

Israel: July 3rd-17th
The team will be working at a youth camp with Musalaha Reconciliation Ministries for the first week and touring the Holy Land the second.  Walk where Jesus walked and serve where Jesus served. Contact Elsa Navarro: elsan@amgen.com

Mexico:  August 20-22
Grace Children's Home is in process of building a new home that will house babies that have been orphaned.  This is an amazing new aspect to their ministry and we have the opportunity to help see it to fruition.  Join the construction team headed down to help with the project.  Contact Brian Field: brian.field@calvarycc.org or 818.575.2266

Haiti: August 21-29
This team will be involved with pastor training, VBS, a medical clinic, water reservoir project in the community of Lamothe.  haitirelief@calvarycc.org

Mexico: September 17-18
Grace Children's Home will be celebrating a quinceanera for a few of the girls in the home.  Our team will head down to join this wonderful celebration!  This is a great opportunity to experience the ministry of Grace Children's Home and see firsthand all that God is doing in the lives of the children.  Contact Brian Field: brian.field@calvarycc.org or 818.575.2266


Russia: October 19th-27th (with option of 28-31st in St. Petersburg)
Helping facilitate a Marriage & Singles Retreat for Russian churches as well as visiting orphanages associated with our child sponsorship program.  The team will also get to tour Red Square in Moscow and have the option of continuing on to visit St. Petersburg.  Contact: Mike Katzenberger: katz@mkatz.org


Haiti: October 28-November 5
The team will be involved in two Next Generation Leadership gatherings, a week spent in discipleship with young leaders, pastor training and a potential construction project.  haitirelief@calvarycc.org

Mexico Family Shoebox Trip: December 10-12
This team will be delivering the Christmas shoeboxes that are collected at Calvary and having a Christmas party for the children of Bella Vista at Mt. Zion Church.  The women will also be having a time of ministry for women in the community.  Contact: Suzanne Hume: suz_hume@hotmail.com
